Jeff pedals for the Heart Foundation and a record
Jeff Nielsen’s Pedal For Heart is a very personal journey to see how far a man can push himself. He is aiming to set a new 24 hour solo human powered record and become the fastest rider in the World.
This April, he’ll be trying to crack the current record, held by Canadian Greg Kolodziejzyk of 1041.25kms.
Jeff has a lot of heart. Many people in the Energy Breakthrough community know that building and preparing a vehicle for the challenge takes a lot of heart and soul. But for Jeff, his involvement has taken on a highly personal level.
“I decided to support the Heart Foundation because at the age of 16 I lost my mother to heart disease.” Jeff explains on his website, PedalForHeart.com, that on the night his mother passed away, his father had just been cleared of cancer after a two year battle.
